Melbourne: Sunday of the Publican and the Pharisee at the Church of the Dormition of Our Lady, North Altona

On the Sunday of the Publican and the Pharisee, 25 February 2024, His Grace Bishop Kyriakos of Sozopolis, Archiepiscopal Vicar of Melbourne, presided over the Divine Liturgy which took place at the Church of the Dormition of Our Lady, in the suburb of North Altona in Melbourne, and was joined in concelebration by His Grace Bishop Themistocles of Nicopolis, of the Patriarchate of Alexandria, as well as Father Dimitrios Drougas and Father Dimitrios Catrinei, Parish Priest of the Church of the Dormition of Our Lady.

At the end of the Divine Liturgy, His Grace Bishop Kyriakos spoke appropriately to the congregation, whilst also conveying the blessings of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia and his wishes for the beginning of the Triodion period.
