Melbourne: Panegyric Vespers at the Parish of the Entrance of the Theotokos, in North Balwyn

On Sunday, 20 November 2022, Eve of the Feast Day of the Entrance of the Theotokos into the Temple, His Grace Bishop Kyriakos of Sozopolis, visited the celebrating Church which bears the name of the feast day in North Balwyn, Melbourne. His Grace Bishop Kyriakos officiated at the Festive Vespers Service, joined by many clergy of the Archdiocesan District of Melbourne, also conveying to the faithful who gathered for the feast day, the prayers and blessings of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia.

Also present, joined in prayer from the Holy Sanctuary, was His Grace Bishop Themistocles of Nikopolis, of the Alexandrian Patriarchate, who at the end of the Vespers Service offered the Divine Word.

Present amid the congregation were, among others, the Liberal Party candidate for state parliament, for the electorate of Kew, Ms Jess Wilson, and also the Liberal Party candidate, for the southern metropolitan region, Mr. Nicholas Stavrou.
