Melbourne: Bishop Kyriakos of Sozopolis at the Monastery of Geelong
On Sunday, 1 May, 2022, The feast day of The Sunday of Thomas was celebrated at the Holy Monastery of Panagia Gorgoipikos, Gelong, VIC.
His Grace Bishop Kyriakos of Sozopolis presided over the Divine Liturgy with the help of Father Athanasios Iviritis who is visiting from Mount Athos.
At the close of the Divine Liturgy His Grace Bishop Kyriakos of Sozopolis thanked the Abbess of the Monastery, Sister Kalistheni for her warm welcome and hospitality, and encouraged the faithful to support the monastery and the works of the sisterhood.
At the conclusion of his brief sermon His Grace Bishop Kyriakos conveyed the Blessings of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia to the sisterhood and to the faithful in attendance.
