Legal recognition of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Lithuania by the State Authorities of the country

The Ministry of Justice of Lithuania proceeded with the legal recognition of the Exarchate of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Lithuania, which ruled that it meets the requirements for its registration in the Register of Legal Entities as one of the nine traditional religious communities, based on Lithuanian legislation.

Following a venerable Patriarchal order, Hieromonk Ioustinos Kiviloo took over as the head of the Exarchate, while it already includes ten clergymen, who minister to the same number of communities throughout the country.
