Holy Cincture of the Theotokos to be conveyed on Saturday to Saint Nicholas Cathedral of Piraeus

The Holy Cincture of the Theotokos, the All-Holy Virgin Mary, will be conveyed today, Saturday, from the Holy and Great Monastery of Vatopedi to the St. Nicholas Cathedral of Piraeus.

The Holy Cincture will arrive at Greece’s largest port city, located in the greater Athens area, where it will be festively received by the resident Metropolitan of Piraeus, His Eminence Seraphim at 11 a.m.

The Holy Cincture will be conveyed by Elder Ephraim, the Abbot of the Holy & Great Monastery of Vatopedi, who will be accompanied by Vatopedi Fathers.

The long-awaited procession and welcoming of the Holy Relic and all the related Church services will be live-streamed by Pemptousia television and covered extensively by the Orthodoxia News Agency.
