His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia visiting Ancient Greeks Exhibition in Canberra

Recently His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia visited the Ancient Greeks “Athletes, Warriors and Heroes”  Exhibition in Canberra held at the National Museum of Canberra.

His Eminence was accompanied by His Grace Bishop Iakovos of Militoupolis, His Grace Bishop Elpidios of Kyaneon and His Grace Bishop Bartholomew of Charioupolis as well as clergy of the Archiepiscopal Court.

The exhibition “Athletes, Warriors and Heroes” has on display approximately 170 objects from the British Museum.

The exhibition commenced on the 17th December 2021 with His Grace Bishop Bartholomew, Archiepiscopal Vicar of Canberra conducting the Agiasmo service and it ends May 1 this year.
