Funeral service for late Metropolitan Chrysostomos of Heliopolis and Theira

The funeral service of the late Metropolitan Chrysostomos of Heliopolis and Theira was held on Friday, April 15, 2022 at 12.00 pm, in the presence of many people from the parish and delegations from England.

The representative of Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens, Metropolitan Theodoritos of Laodicea, presided over the service, accompanied by a large number of clergymen.

The relic of the late Hierarch will be transferred by sea on Saturday, April 16, 22 to his hometown of Damariona, Naxos, by the local Metropolitan Kallinikos of Paranaxia for his burial.
