Feast of Saint George the Trophy-bearer was celebrated in the Phanar

In a Resurrectional atmosphere and with fervor, on Bright Monday of Pascha, April 25, 2022, the most sacred Patriarchal Church celebrated its patron, Saint George the Trophy Bearer.

The Divine Liturgy was presided over by Metropolitan Makarios of Aeneas and Metropolitans Seraphim of Sevastia and Nikandros of Irinoupolis, while the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew attended the service.

During the service, an artoklasia was performed.

The Metropolitans Elder Emmanuel of Chalcedon, Elder Demetrios of Princes’ Islands, Bishop Smaragdos of Dafnousia, Georgia Sultanopoulou, Consul General of Greece in Constantinople, Offikialioi, and faithful from Constantinople and abroad attended the service.
