Feast day of the Dormition of the Theotokos from Canberra

With the Blessings of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia,  His Grace Bishop Bartholomew of Charioupolis celebrated Matins and the Divine Liturgy for the great feast of the Dormition of the Theotokos at the Church of Saint Nicholas, Canberra.

The service was attended by the Ambassador of Greece His Excellency Mr Georgios Papacostas and the High Commissioner of Cyprus Her Excellency Mrs Martha Mavrommatis.

At the end of the service His Grace conveyed the love and blessings of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios and on behalf of His Eminence wished the Ambassador and High Commissioner abundant Blessings from Above.

Moreover His Grace wished Very Reverend Petros Kipouros, the Parish Priest all the best together with the President of the Parish, Mrs John Loukadellis.
