Ecumenical Patriarch to ordain new Bishop and Presbyter on December 25

The Ecumenical Patriarchate announced that on the Great Feast Day of Christmas, the nativity of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, on Monday, 25 December 2023, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew will preside over the Patriarchal and Synodal Divine Liturgy and will perform the ordination of Metropolitan-elect Theodoros of Seleucia to the rank of Bishop and the ordination of the new Chief Secretary of the Holy and Sacred Synod, Deacon Bosporios Mangafas, to the rank of Presbyter.

At the end of the Divine Liturgy, the Ecumenical Patriarch will elevate the new Presbyter as Archimandrite of the Great Church.
