Ecumenical Patriarch to officiate at Divine Liturgy for Saint Photios the Great in Halki

It is announced with great thanksgiving, that on the occasion of the Feast of Our Father among the Saints, Saint Photios the Great, Patriarch of Constantinople, patron saint of our Holy Monastery and the Theological School of Halki, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, finding it well pleasing, will officiate at the Divine Liturgy which is scheduled to take place tomorrow, 6 February 2024, in the chapel of the Holy Monastery, where he will also bless the Artoklasia (5 loaves) and the Kollyva of the Saint.

The feast day celebrations will commence with the Service of the Great Vespers on the eve of the feast day at 5 pm, which will be officiated by the Abbot of the monastery, His Grace Bishop Kassianos of Aravissos.

Following the Divine Liturgy, a reception will take place in the Great Synodikon of the Theological School.
