Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew visits the Church of Sant’ Ulderico in Ivrea, Italy

On Thursday, 4 July 2024, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew arrived at the airport of the city of Milan for a three-day visit to the Diocese of Ivrea, invited by Bishop Edoardo Aldo Cerrato, in order to attend certain church events, in honour of the Holy Hieromartyr Savinos, bishop and Patron Saint of Ivrea.

The Ecumenical Patriarch left Milan and made his way with his entourage to the Church of Sant’ Ulderico, in Ivrea, and participated in the prayer for the feast of Saint Savino. At the end of the service, he addressed the faithful in Italian.

Members of the Patriarchal entourage are: His Eminence Metropolitan Polycarp of Italy, His Grace Bishop Paisios of Xanthoupolis, Patriarchal Deacon Father Varnavas, Archimandrite Ioannis Batsis, Parish Priest of the Milan Greek Orthodox Community, and Mr. Chrysovalantis Gulgun, one of the Secretaries of the Patriarchate.
