Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew honoured the memory of his predecessor, Patriarch Vasilios III

On Monday, 1 January 2024, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew visited the Holy Monastery of Zoodochos Pigi Valoukli, where he chanted a Trisagion (memorial service) for the repose of the soul of his predecessor, the ever-remembered Patriarch Vasilios III.

His All-Holiness also prayed for Ecumenical Patriarch Maximos V, who fell asleep in the Lord on New Year’s Eve in 1972, as well as for Bishop Vasilios of Apameia, who served as the abbot of the Monastery.
