Dinner held in honour of the volunteers of the Archdiocesan District of Northcote

With the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, The Archdiocesan District of Northcote in Victoria organised a Dinner in honour of all the volunteers of the parishes and communities of the district.

The Dinner took place at the Holy Church of Saint Dimitrios, Moone Pond and was organised by Rev. Father John Frangos, the Proistamenos of the Church.

Around 280 volunteers graced the evening with their presence. The event was attended by people of all ages, who serve the parishes of the Holy Archdiocese, its institutions, schools, etc., at various levels.

His Grace Bishop Evmenios of Kerasounta, who represented His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, conveyed to the volunteers the wishes and grateful thanks of His Eminence, as well as the whole of the Holy Archdiocese for all that they have offered to their parishes and their institutions.

Also, His Grace Bishop Evmenios on behalf of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, handed out icons to all those who were in attendance as a blessing, and urged them to continue their God-pleasing work for the benefit of the Church.
