Cutting of the Vasilopita at ‘Saint Basil’s’ Homes for the Aged in Victoria

His Grace Bishop Evmenios of Chora, visited the Saint Basil’s’ Homes for the Aged in Victoria for the traditional cutting of Vasilopita.

During the event, His Grace conveyed the paternal wishes and blessings of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, expressing warm wishes for the New Year to the guests, staff and their families.

In his short speech, Bishop Evmenios spoke about the importance of faith, unity and service to one’s fellow human being, encouraging everyone to continue with hope and strength in the new year. He also expressed sincere thanks to the staff and administration of the Aged Care Home for the dedication and care they provide to the residents every day.
