By the grace of God and of the Most Holy Theotokos, pilgrims from the Karaköy Metochion of the Vatopedi Monastery of Mount Athos, in Constantinople, led by the Parish Priest of the Church, The Grand Preacher Archimandrite Panaretos Psaraftis, visited the Holy Patriarchal and Stavropegic Monastery of the Holy Trinity Tzagarolon, in Crete.

The local Shepherd, His Eminence Metropolitan Damaskinos of Kydonia and Apokoronas, the Protosyncellus of the Holy Metropolis, Archimandrite Nikiphoros Eikosidekas, the Abbot of the Holy Monastery, Archimandrite of the Ecumenical Throne Amphilochios Papagianakis, and the fathers of the monastery, warmly welcomed with much love, both Father Panaretos and the pilgrims who were with him.

They all had the opportunity to take a guided tour of the Holy Monastery, to learn about its history and to venerate in the Church.

Afterwards, at the monastic table where a meal was offered, Father Panaretos thanked, with words of love, The Metropolitan, the Protosyncellus and the Abbot for the Abrahamic hospitality which was offered to them, while also conveying the wishes and blessings of His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew from the Phanar.

With paternal words, Metropolitan Damaskinos welcomed Father Panaretos and the pilgrims of the Church of Saint Andrew where he ministers and serves the needs of the Russian community of Constantinople, paying respects to His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.

The Abbot of the Monastery, Father Amphilochios, also greeted the blessed group of pilgrims with words of love.
