Concelebratory services around Greece on occasion of the Translation of Holy Relics of St. George the Great Martyr
A con-celebratory Hierarchical Vespers was held at the Saint Eustathios Cathedral in the Nea Ionia district of west Athens on Wednesday, officiated by the newly elected Metropolitan of Aetolia & Akarnania, His Eminence Damaskinos, and in the presence of His Beatitude Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece.
In northern Greece, and specifically in the city of Katerini, an Hierarchical Divine Liturgy was held at the celebrating St. George Cathedral of Nea Peristasi, on the occasion of the Translation of the Holy Relics of St. George the Great Martyr. The con-celebratory Divine Liturgy was officiated by the resident Metropolitan of Kitrous, His Eminence Georgios.
A similar festive Divine Liturgy was held on Wednesday at the celebrating Cathedral of St. George, in the southern city of Nafplio.
