Commemoration of Miracle of Saint Spyridon in Patriarchal Skete of Saint Spyridon
The summer feast in commemoration of the miracle of Saint Spyridon was celebrated in the Patriarchal Skete of Saint Spyridon yesterday, July 13, 2021.
The Abbot, Bishop Kassianos of Aravissos, presided over the Orthros and Archieratical Divine Liturgy and performed the consecration of the renovated Church of the Skete.
Archbishop Nektarios of Anthidon, Commissioner of the Holy Sepulchre in Constantinople, attended the Divine Liturgy.
After the end of the Divine Liturgy, the Bishop of Aravissos expressed his joy for the renovation of the Skete and his gratitude to the donors.
A large number of believers from the Princes’ Islands and Constantinople, as well as pilgrims from Greece, attended the Divine Liturgy. A reception followed in the courtyard of the Skete.
