Clean Monday at the Phanar

At midday on Clean Monday, 18 March 2024, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, received, according to Church tradition, the Hierarchs of the Ecumenical Throne in Turkey, with whom he exchanged fraternal wishes of mutual forgiveness, on the occasion of the entry into Holy and Great Lent.

Following this, His All-Holiness officiated from the Parathrone at the venerable Patriarchal Church of Saint George at the Phanar, during the Service of the Great Compline of Clean Monday.
