Celebrations surrounding our National Anniversary of the 28th October 1940

The Inter-Communities Council of the Holy Archdiocese has the honour of inviting you to the Doxology Service which will mark the National Day of the 28^th October 1940. This will take place on Sunday, the 29^th October 2023 at the Holy Cathedral of the Annunciation of our Lady (242 Cleveland Street, Redfern), in accordance with the following programme:

– 6:30 am Matins and Hierarchical Divine Liturgy
presided by His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia.

– 10:00 am Doxology
with the presence of Consulate Leaders, the Returned and Services League of Australia – Hellenic Sub-Branch and Presidents of Greek Associations and Brotherhoods.

– 10:15 am Memorial Prayer Service and Laying of Wreath
at the Memorial of the Fallen (in the courtyard of the Holy Cathedral).
