“But I, O Lord, cry out to you; in the morning my prayer comes before you…”

On Wednesday evening, 14 February 2024, His Eminence Metropolitan Ieronymos of Larissa and Tyrnavos held a Holy Vigil at the Metropolitan Church of Saint Achillius, in Larissa, inviting his flock to gather as an army of prayer, in order to enlighten those who legislate, to decide correctly, in relation to the bill to be passed for the extension of civil “marriage” to same-sex couples.

Metropolitan Ieronymos read the announcement of the extraordinary Double Holy Synod as a sign of respect and honour to the Mount Athos State, for which some have recently decided, without having jurisdiction or authority, that it is not a Church.
