Bishop of Hierapolis performed Trisagion for Earthquake victims in Antakya

His Grace Bishop Arsanios Dahdal, Bishop of Hierapolis and Assistant Bishop to the Patriarch of Antioch, performed a Trisagion to honour the memory of those who lost their lives in the devastating 2023 Turkey–Syria earthquakes that struck one year ago.

Following the service, Bishop Arsanios engaged in heartfelt discussions with the faithful, conveying the love, prayers, blessings, and condolences of His Beatitude Patriarch John X of Antioch. His Grace delved into the theological perspective on death, emphasising the profound belief within the Church that the light of the Resurrection triumphs over the darkness of the grave. Reminding the congregation that they are children of the Resurrection, he offered solace and hope in the face of loss and tragedy.
