Archbishop of Ohrid paid a visit to Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia

At the invitation of His Beatitude Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia and in commemoration of the third anniversary of his election as the head of the Serbian Orthodox Church, His Eminence Archbishop Stefan of Ohrid embarked on a two-day visit to Belgrade.

Accompanied by members of the staff of the Holy Synod of Bishops, Archbishop Stefan’s visit was marked by a spirit of camaraderie and mutual respect. The delegation was joined by His Grace Bishop Irinej of Bačka, a distinguished member of the Holy Synod of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church, and Archimandrite Nektarije (Đurić), the Chief Secretary of the Holy Synod.

During their time together, the attendees engaged in fruitful discussions about current affairs within the Orthodox world, emphasising the importance of unity and solidarity among Orthodox communities.
