Archbishop of Chernihiv: Probable target of the Russians is the Metropolitan of Kyiv – He is not going to leave Ukraine

Archbishop Evstratiy stressed that with this reasoning, special security measures have been taken to avoid “irreparable consequences for the local Church and Ukraine at this time of the struggle for freedom if the enemy succeeds in his plan.”

In fact, he clarified that Metropolitan Epifaniy remained in Ukraine, “he has not left and will not leave” while commenting on the rumors to the contrary as absurd.

He added that the Metropolitan of Kyiv has reliable protection, working constantly, communicating with bishops and local clergy, praying.
