Archbishop Makarios of Australia met with the Consul General of Greece in Melbourne

On Tuesday, 19 March, His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia received the Consul General of Greece in the Capital of Victoria, Mr. Emmanuel Kakavelakis, at the Offices of the Holy Archdiocese in Melbourne.

During the meeting, which was held in an atmosphere of excellent cooperation, matters of mutual interest were discussed, with an emphasis on the preparations for the celebration of the Anniversary of the Greek Revolution of 1821, as well as for the reception of His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, during His Apostolic Visit to Melbourne next October.
