Agiasmos and Cutting of the Vasilopita at the Cretan Village in Melbourne

The Agiasmos for the blessing of the new year 2024 took place at the Cretan Village in Melbourne and was performed by His Grace Bishop Kyriakos of Sozopolis.

His Grace Bishop Kyriakos, who was joined by His Grace Bishop Themistocles of Nicopolis, of the Patriarchate of Alexandria, blessed and cut the traditional Vasilopita for the Pancretan Association of Melbourne.

Bishop Kyriakos duly wished the present members of the Board of Directors well for the new year, while he also conveyed the wishes and blessings of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia.
