A Group of pilgrims from Kassandra, Chalkidiki visit Silivria

On Tuesday morning, 16 January 2024, a 60-member group of pilgrims, under the leadership of Archimandrite Theologos Demos, visited for the first time, the Thracian city of Silivria.

The pilgrims went to the Acropolis of Silivria (Kale Park), to the site of the house of Saint Nektarios, before which they prayed, whilst they also visited the newly built museum of the Population Exchange.

Afterwards, pilgrims were welcomed to the Episcopate by the Local Hierarch, His Eminence Metropolitan Maximos of Silivria. After their reception and welcoming by the Metropolitan, the pilgrims left full of holy experiences and memories.
