Ecumenical Patriarch visits the Chapel of Saint Haralambos in Imbros

On Tuesday afternoon, 20 August 2024, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, accompanied by Their Eminences, Metropolitans Kyrillos of Imbros and Tenedos, Metropolitan Iakovos of Mexico, along with clergy, nuns, and several local residents from Imbros, visited the chapel of Saint Haralambos.

The chapel, nestled in a forest near the Patriarch’s home village of Agioi Theodoroi, was the site of a Vespers service led by the village priest, Father Asterios Okomousis. The gathering offered a moment of communal prayer and reflection in the serene surroundings.
