Greek Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs visited the members of the Greek Diaspora in Germany

Greek Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Giorgos Kotsiras made a series of meetings with institutions and members of the Greek community during his visit to the federal state of Baden-Württemberg in Germany.

In a social media post, he highlighted the strong interest of Greek expatriates in the developments in Greece and the policies concerning Greeks abroad.

At an event held at the Cultural Centre of the Parish of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, organised by the Consulate General of Greece in Stuttgart, the Deputy Minister briefed Greek expatriates on recent government initiatives for the Greek Diaspora.

Mr. Kotsiras provided insights into the process of postal voting, which will be implemented for the upcoming European elections, and outlined the main aspects of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Strategic Plan for Greeks Abroad. Additionally, he attentively listened to their feedback and remarks.

Furthermore, Deputy Minister Kotsiras participated in the Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Dormition of Our Lady in the city of Reutlingen, Baden-Württemberg. This parish is notable for its commendable social work, including hosting families of patients with serious illnesses who seek treatment at the Tübingen university clinic.
