Greek President marks Holocaust remembrance day

Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou on Saturday observed International Holocaust Remembrance Day, describing the genocide of European Jews during World War II as “an atrocious crime that has left an indelible mark on world history.”

“The slogan ‘Never Again’ remains relevant throughout time, reminding us that preserving historical memory goes hand in hand with our active participation in fortifying democracy,” she said.
