The Hierarchy of the Church of Greece elected new Metropolitans in Drama and Ilia
The meeting of the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece was concluded with the election of two new Metropolitans in Drama and Ilia.
Archimandrite Dorotheos Paparis, the first secretary of the Holy Synod, was elected Metropolitan in Drama.
The new Metropolitan of Ilia is Bishop Athanasios of Olena.
