Melbourne: Divine liturgy presided over by His Grace Bishop Christodoulos of Magnesia at the Church of Saints Anargiri, Oakleigh

On the 2nd Sunday of Luke, 2 October 2022, at the Holy Church of Saints Anargyri, in Oakleigh of Melbourne, The Matins and Divine Liturgy took place, presided over and officiated by His Grace Bishop Christodoulos of Magnesia,  who was also joined in prayer by His Grace Bishop Kyriakos of Sozopolis, Archiepiscopal Vicar of Melbourne.

During his sermon, His Grace Bishop Christodoulos, analysed the Gospel pericope of the day, making note of the love for our neighbour, in the way Christ loved and taught, that is, loving even our enemies.

After the dismissal of the Divine Liturgy, the Philoptochos of the Parish offered sweets for sale to raise money in support of the “Five Loaves” initiative, implemented in the Archdiocesan District of Melbourne. From this activity, $1,019.00 was collected.
