The Feast of Christmas at the Theological School of Halki

The Nativity of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ was celebrated with great solemnity in the chapel of the Theological School of Halki on Wednesday, 25 December 2024. The Feast Day services included Matins and the Divine Liturgy, presided over by the Abbot, His Grace Bishop Kassianos of Aravissos.

Faithful from Halki, along with numerous groups of pilgrims from Greece, attended the feast day Divine Liturgy.

On the preceding day, 24 December 2024, in the chapel of the School, the Matins, the Service of the Great Hours of Christmas, and the Vesperal Divine Liturgy of Saint Basil the Great were observed. These services were also presided over by His Grace Bishop Kassianos of Aravissos.
