Canberra: His Grace Βishop Bartholomew of Charioupolis visits Jewish Synagogue and Jewish Museum
This morning His Grace Bishop Bartholomew of Charioupolis, Archiepiscopal Vicar of Canberra visited the Jewish Synagogue in Canberra and Jewish Museum upon the invitation of the Ambassador of Israel His Excellency Amir Maimon. His Excellency provided His Grace a tour of the premises and outlined to His Grace the traditions of Judaism.
Following the tour, light refreshments were offered.
His Grace conveyed the love and respect of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia and extended an invitation to the Ambassador to visit Sydney and meet with His Eminence. Moreover thanked the Ambassador for his kind invitation.
Accompanying His Grace was Parish Priest of St Nicholas in Canberra, Very Reverend Petros Kipouros, the President of the Parish and Community of St Nicholas Mr Loukadellis and Mr Satsias from the Hellenic Club.
