Patriarch of Alexandria Theodoros II received by Greek PM Mitsotakis in Athens
The Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, His Beatitude Theodoros II, arrived in Greece this week, where on Tuesday he was received by Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
The challenges facing the world at the moment and the preservation of Orthodox Churches dominated talks.
The meeting also reviewed all issues pertaining to the venerable Alexandria Patriarchate, with Mitsotakis expressing the Greek government’s support.
