ΕΡΤ2 & ERT World: Patriarchal Divine Liturgy for the Feast of the Holy Spirit direct from the Holy Monastery of Panagia Faneromeni, Lefkada

On Monday, 24 June 2024, at 8:00am, Greece time, (3:00pm Canberra time), viewers inside and outside of Greece will be able watch the Divine Liturgy for the feast day of the Holy Spirit through ERT2 and ERT World channels, in live broadcast from the Holy Monastery of Panagia Faneromeni, Lefkada.

His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, will preside over the feast day services for the feast of the Holy Spirit, in Lefkada, and more specifically at the Holy Monastery of Panagia Faneromeni. The Monastery of Panagia Faneromeni is dedicated to the feast of the dormition of the Mother of God, and is also the protectress and patron of the island.

The Monastery celebrates every year on the Monday of the Holy Spirit, and pilgrims flock from all over Lefkada and the surrounding areas to attend the feast day services, while there is also a procession of the icon of the Virgin Mary.
