Visit of Colonel I. Fasianos and Captain N. Roussos to the Holy Archdiocese of Australia
On Monday, March 28, His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia received a visit from Colonel Ioannis Fasianos, Permanent Military Attaché of the Greek Embassy in Canberra, and Captain Nikolaos Roussos, Curator of Museum Collections of the War Museum of Athens.
During the meeting, which took place in an excellent atmosphere, at the headquarters of the Holy Archdiocese of Australia, in Sydney, Issues of mutual interest and current affairs were discussed, concerning Greece and the Greek Diaspora of Australia, as well as the possibilities of further strengthening the ties of the expatriates with the homeland, through the strengthening of the channels of communication and cooperation.
