The Third Lenten Vespers at the Church of Saint Dimitrios, Tataoula

On the Second Sunday of Lent, 16 March 2025, in the afternoon, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew officiated at the Third Lenten Vespers Service which took place at the Church of Saint Dimitrios in Tataoula.

The holy sermon was preached by Archimandrite Evgenios Karantzas, Protosyncellus of the Holy Metropolis of Chalcedon.

Also present and joined in prayer were Their Eminences, Elder Metropolitan Emmanuel of Chalcedon and Metropolitan Stephanos of Kallioupolis and Madytos, Supervisor of the Tataoula District, clergy and Archons of the Great Church of Christ, and many faithful believers from Constantinople.

On Sunday morning, His All-Holiness was present and joined in prayer at the Divine Liturgy which took place at the venerable Patriarchal Church of Saint George at the Phanar, during which His Eminence Metropolitan Irinaios of Myriophytos and Peristasis officiated.

The holy sermon was preached by Patriarchal Deacon Father Evlogios Tsatsas, Codifier of the Holy and Sacred Synod.
