The Sunday after the Nativity at the Church of the Transfiguration of Our Lord, Thomastown

On the Sunday after the Nativity of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, 29 December 2024, His Grace Bishop Evmenios officiated at the Matins and presided over the Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Transfiguration of Our Lord in Thomastown.

During the Divine Liturgy, Bishop Evmenios conveyed the warm wishes and blessings of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia for the Holy Twelve Days of Christmas, to Father George Frangos, Parish Priest, the Parish Council, the Philoptochos Association and all the pious parishioners.

Instea of a homily, His Grace read the Christmas Message of His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.

At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, Bishop Evmenios conducted a memorial service for the repose of the soul of His mother, Vasiliki Vasilopoulos, who passed away on Friday, 27 December 2024.
