The Patriarch of Alexandria met with the Minister of Education of Greece

The Minister of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports of Greece, Ms. Sofia Zacharaki, met with His Beatitude Pope and Patriarch Theodore II of Alexandria and All Africa.

During their discussion, which was held in a particularly warm climate of mutual understanding, issues referring to education in the diaspora and support for the Patriarchate of Alexandria and All Africa for the continuation of its invaluable contribution throughout Africa were examined.

The Minister informed the Patriarch in detail about the matter regarding establishing positions for priests from the Greek Diaspora.

The Patriarch invited the Minister to visit the Patriarchate of Alexandria and All Africa and the Greek Orthodox schools.
