From the Holy Metropolis of Thessaloniki, it is announced that, yesterday, Monday, 7 August  2023, His All-Holiness Metropolitan Anthimos of Thessaloniki, duly submitted his resignation and placed himself at the disposal of His Beatitude Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece and of the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece.
