The fifth Lenten Vespers at the Church of Saint Dimitrios, Xyloporta in Constantinople

On the forth Sunday of Lent, 30 March, in the afternoon, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew officiated at the Service of the 5th Lenten Vespers at the Church of Saint Dimitrios in the Xyloporta District of Constantinople.

The Holy Sermon was preached by Archimandrite Fr Timotheos Railakis Vranas.

Also present and joined in prayer were His Eminence Metropolitan Ioakeim of Bursa, His Grace Bishop Adrianos Halicarnassus, Supervisor of the Phanar – Golden Horn District, clergy, Archons of the Great Church of Christ, and faithful believers from Constantinople.

On Sunday morning, His All-Holiness was present joined in prayer during the Divine Liturgy which took place at the venerable Patriarchal Church of Saint George, which was officiated by His Eminence Metropolitan Theodoros of Seleucia.
