The Feast of Theophany according to the Julian Calendar in the Historic City of Silivri

On Sunday, 19 January 2025, the Great Feast of Theophany was celebrated in the city of Silivri, according to the Julian Calendar. In the Holy Chapel of Panagia Silivriani and Saint Nektarios, Father Georgios Lafazanifis presided over the Divine Liturgy, while the local Shepherd, His Eminence Metropolitan Maximos of Selyvria officiated from the throne.

After the dismissal of the Divine Liturgy, a reception was held, during which the faithful who were in attendance offered pre-feast day wishes to their Shepherd, for his name day celebration.
