The Feast of the translation of the Holy Relics of Saint Nectarios, in his birthplace
On Sunday, 3 September 2023, the feast day of the translation of the Holy Relics of Saint Nectarios, Bishop of Pentapolis was celebrated in the historical location of Selyvria, the birthplace of the Saint.
The local shepherd, His Eminence Metropolitan Maximos of Selyvria was present in prayer during the feast day Divine Liturgy.
Also joined in prayer for the feast day were, Mr. Pantelis Kalaitzidis, Director of the Theological Academy of Volos, along with his wife, Maria, as well as many faithful from the local area.
