The Feast of the Synaxis of All Saints who shone forth in Rhodes

On the Fourth Sunday of Lent, 30 March 2025, the Holy Metropolis of Rhodes celebrated the memory of All Saints who shone forth in Rhodes, with the centre of the feast day celebrations taking place at the Church of the Annunciation of the Theotokos. The icon of the Holy Great Martyr Fanourios, the icon and the holy relic of the Holy New Martyr Constantine of Hydra and the holy Skull of the Holy Father Meletios of Ypseni had been transferred to the Holy Church for veneration and sanctification of the faithful.
The feast day Divine Liturgy was presided over by His Eminence Metropolitan Kyrillos of Rhodes. Before the Dismissal of the Divine Liturgy, the established, since 2006, memorial service was held for the late Metropolitans of Rhodes, the Clergy of the Holy Metropolis, the founders and benefactors of the Orthodox Community of Rhodes and the benefactors of the local Church. The holy sermon was preached by His Eminence Metropolitan Kyrillos, who in conclusion congratulated the Protosyncellus Archimandrite Theonas Kamperis for his name day.
Members of Parliament Mr. Ioannis Papas and Mr. Vasilios Ypsilantis and representatives of the local political and military authorities were also present for the feast day.

In the evening, the Lenten Vespers took place at the Metropolitan Church of the Entrance of the Theotokos into the Temple, and was officiated by His Grace Bishop Kyrillos of Olympus, while the Protopresbyter Fr. Gregory Bolis spoke on the topic: “The Devil’s Methods During Great Lent.”
