The Feast of the Resurrection in Brisbane, Queensland
The Resurrection of our Lord was celebrated with particular splendour in Brisbane, Queensland, at the Holy Church of Saint Paraskevi in Taigum.
With the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, His Grace Bishop Emilianos of Meloa presided over the service of the Resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
The joyous paean of the Resurrection, “Christ is Risen”, was heard in the garden of the Holy Church of Saint Paraskevi, filling the faithful with joy.
His Grace Bishop Emilianos conveyed to the faithful the Paschal wishes and blessings of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia.
The participation of the faithful was remarkable, as they attended the Resurrection Matins and Divine Liturgy until the dismissal.
