The Feast of Saints Constantine and Helen at the Theological School of Halki
On Tuesday, 21 May 2024, on the Feast Day of Saints Constantine and Helen in the presence of many pilgrims from Greece and Ukraine, the Matins and Divine Liturgy were celebrated in the chapel of the Theological School of Halki, presided over by His Grace Bishop Kassianos of Aravissos.
At the end of the Divine Liturgy, at the grave of Patriarch Constantine V, a graduate of the School, Ecumenical Patriarch during the years 1897-1901, the Abbot performed a Trisagion for the repose of his soul, as well as for the repose of the Late Metropolitans Constantine of Stavroupolis, the first Scholarch of the Theological School of Halki (1844-1865), and Constantine of Nicosia, a graduate and later Professor of the School.
