The Feast of Saint Stephanos in Yeşilköy, Constantinople

On Friday, 27 December 2024, on the occasion of the Feast of Saint Stephanos the Protomartyr and Archdeacon, a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy took place and was presided over by His Eminence Elder Metropolitan Apostolos of Derkoi, at the celebrating Church of Saint Stephanos in the Community of Saint Stephanos in Yeşilköy, Constantinople.

On the eve of the Feast, the Great Vespers took place and were officiated by His Eminence Elder Metropolitan Apostolos of Derkoi. The Holy Sermon was preached by Patriarchal Deacon and Codifier of the Holy and Sacred Synod, Father Evlogios Tsatsas. At the conclusion of the Vespers Service, the sheep offered in memory of Saint Stephanos were blessed.
