The Feast Day of the Church of the Holy Cross in Box Hill, Melbourne

On 13 and 14 September 2024, His Grace Bishop Kyriakos of Melbourne presided over the feast day services for the feast of the Elevation of the Precious and Life-giving Cross at the celebrating Parish of the Holy Cross in the suburb of Box Hill in Melbourne.

Bishop Kyriakos was joined in the feast day services by clergy of the Holy Diocese of Melbourne, including the Parish Priest of the Church of the Holy Cross, Father Dionysios Rallis. His Grace Bishop Themistocles of Nicopolis, of the Patriarchate of Alexandria, also participated, and, in fact, spoke inspiredly about the Holy Cross and the meaning of the feast day.

Bishop Kyriakos of Melbourne also conveyed to the congregation the wishes and blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia.
