The feast day of Saint Gregory Palamas at the Holy Monastery of Esphigmenou on Mount Athos

On the Second Sunday of Lent, 16 March 2025, the Holy Monastery of Esphigmenou celebrated its patron, Saint Gregory Palamas, who served as abbot of the Monastery for three years.

The Feast Day was presided over by His Eminence Metropolitan Ieronymos of Larissa and Tyrnavos, who was joined by the abbot of the Esphigmenou Monastery, Archimandrite Bartholomew, representatives of Holy Monasteries on Mount Athos and fathers from various cells, and in the presence of many pilgrims.
